Privacy Policy
Plain-language summary: we cannot expose your identity because we never collect it.
What we do not collect
VoiceBox does not ask for, collect, or store: your name, email address, phone number, student ID, institution login, social media identity, or any account credentials.
There are no user accounts on VoiceBox. No profile is created when you submit a report.
What is stored with your report
Only the content you write: the report type, institution and city, category, title, description, and the date of submission. Each report receives a randomly generated tracking code. The code is not linked to any personal identifier because none exists.
Technical data & rate limiting
To prevent automated spam and abuse, the server may temporarily use network-level request metadata (such as IP addresses) solely to enforce submission limits. This metadata is used for abuse prevention only, is retained briefly, and is never associated with the content of a report.
VoiceBox contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking scripts.
Cookies
A single session cookie may be set strictly for platform administrators after they sign in to the moderation area. Students and reporters receive no cookies from this platform.
Moderation & disclosure
Reports are reviewed by human moderators before publication. Content that is defamatory, fabricated, or contains private information about third parties is rejected.
We will not disclose, sell, or share report contents with any third party except where required by applicable law through due legal process.
Policy updates
Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Effective date: August 2026 · Applies to all reports submitted via this platform.
